Workshop
Any good bicycle shop has a good workshop behind it, we have one of the best. The workshop here is fully equipped with specialist tools, our mechanics have many years of hard earned experience and are some of the best in the business. We’re able to service pretty much anything bike related that you can bring to us, from doing a simple puncture repair to full bike re-builds.
We have a number of servicing options available for whatever type of bicycle you may have, including complete bike rebuilds or assembling new bikes. The prices below are for labour, if parts are needed they will be extra.
Safety Check / Mail order bike in box assembly £40.00
Basic Service - £50.00
Frame & Forks - Wiped down and checked for alignment
Brakes - Checked for effective operation, alignment and adjusted
Gears - Checked/Adjusted for wear, alignment and re-lubricated
Wheels - Hubs and rims checked for damage and wear. Basic trueing, retensioning and bearing check whilst on the bike
Tyres - Sidewalls checked for wear and inflated to correct pressure
Bottom Bracket - Checked for play
Headset - Checked for free movement and retensioned as necessary
Bolts - Checked and tightened to correct torque settings
Deluxe Service £90.00
Includes all of the above work, plus....
Cleaning - Comprehensive clean of complete bike
Drivetrain - Full chain, cassette, crank and mechs removed, cleaned in parts washer, soaked in oil bath and adjusted/reassembly
Bottom bracket - Stripped and greased where applicable
Super Service £150
Includes all of the above work in Basic & Deluxe services, plus....
Frame & Forks - Frame stripped cleaned and checked for alignment and damage, threads cleaned and checked
Wheels - Hubs disassembled, cleaned, inspected and reassembled/re-greased
Headset - Removed, cleaned, regreased, refitted & checked for movement
Bottom Bracket - Removed, cleaned, regreased, refitted & checked for movement
All Other Components - Removed, checked for wear, cleaned and re-lubricated
Gear Service £20 – Checked/Adjusted for wear, alignment and re-lubricated (Extra charges for internal cable routing bikes)
Brake Service £20 – Checked for effective operation, alignment and adjusted (Extra charges for internal cable routing bikes)
Deluxe Gear Service £35 – Full chain, cassette, crank and mechs removed, cleaned in parts washer, soaked in oil bath and adjusted/reassembly (Extra charges for internal cable routing bikes)
Di2 Update & Gear Service £40 - Checked/Adjusted for wear, alignment and re-lubricated (Extra charges for internal cable routing bikes)

Wheel Build £45.00 per wheel (Excluding Spokes)
Fork Servicing - Lower leg £50 (plus seals)
Full Suspension Bearing replacement - £150-£200 (frame design dependant) for complete bike, reduced to £100-150 if frame only brought in (All prices PLUS bearing and bolt kit costs)

Booking a repair
To book a repair pop in or call the shop on 01932 564661 and we will fit you into the next available space. Once you deliver your bicycle to us, we will give you an estimate at the time of drop off, if we subsequently discover it requires further work, we will contact you before carrying on.
Unless stated otherwise all servicing prices exclude parts and are subject to change if the job takes much longer than normal
